Classic Laddie whisky recipe is not set in stone : Bruichladdich's Distillery have no interest in consistency or uniformity, instead – year by year – the variety and provenance of their barley shapes their spirit, and an ever-increasing range of casks are sourced to evolve the suite of flavours at Bruichladdich. The Classic Laddie shows a brilliant bouquet in the nose opening with barley sugar and a hint of mint before leading into notes of wild flowers, buttercup, daisy, meadowsweet, myrtle, primrose and cherry blossom. The palate entry is refined and refreshing with sweet oak and barley to end on a warm and soothing finish.
